After Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday, the main talking points from the game were over Mo Salah’s penalty in the 42nd minute – and whether it was legitimate or not.

In fact, former Crystal Palace F.C. owner Simon Jordan was eager to make his feelings heard on TalkSport today, voicing his rather angry opinion on the situation at hand on the radio show talkSPORT.

Despite the referee awarding the penalty, meaning that a clear foul was committed, Jordan was disgusted at the theatrics that Salah supposedly used in order to win the decision in his favour.

The former Crystal Palace owner even went so far as to label the Egyptian’s actions as ‘cheating’, despite the officials clearly feeling that it was a foul within the rules of the game, hence their decision to award a penalty – something that Jordan refused to accept in his argument against the penalty.

Guest Danny Murphy agreed in accordance with Jordan on the theatrics over the penalty, and that without Salah’s actions the foul would not be awarded – but this is more something that would need to be discussed and addressed by the officials themselves.
