A number of Europe’s top clubs are interested in making a move for Liverpool midfielder, Naby Keita, in the summer transfer window.

Keita’s current contract is set to expire in the summer and is looking increasingly likely to depart the club in June.

Tottenham, RB Leipzig, Lyon, Monaco, AC Milan and Inter Milan are all tipped to make a move for the Guinea captain, according to reliable transfer correspondant, Graema Bailey.

Naby Keita has been a frustrating figure throughout his time on Merseyside, since his £60million move from RB Leipzig in 2018.

The 27-year-old has never really been able to showcase his full potential due to his horrific injury record, which has seen him miss more games than games played for Liverpool.

Despite being a regular component in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield in recent weeks, he has made just six appearances so far this season after missing the first five months with a hamstring issue.

There is no doubt that the number eight is a useful player on his day, full of energy and creativity but the inconsistency has become a serious problem during his time at Liverpool.

I would personally only be letting Keita go once we have made concrete progress in the signing of someone like Jude Bellingham or Frenkie De Jong, but unfortunately the matter is now out of our hands with just six months left on his deal at the club.
