Besides Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s attacking options this season have been far from their usual best, with the Reds struggling for goals at times this season in all competitions.

This has led to plenty of interest in other attacking talent across Europe with the club hopeful of fixing this issue in the summer, as well as calls for current No.9 Roberto Firmino to be moved on in the summer due to his lack of contribution in the form of goals, with Salah and Sadio Mané often the main goalscorers for the club.

Will Mane, Salah or Firmino leave Liverpool this summer?

One of the names mentioned in the possible replacements has been Sevilla’s star striker Youssef En-Nesyri, with the Moroccan forward impressing for the Spanish side since joining them just over a year ago from Leganes. This season the 23-year-old has 17 goals in La Liga and the Champions League and according to 90min, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on his transfer situation, as cited by AnfieldWatch on Twitter…

With a current market value of £13.5 million according to Transfermarkt and Sevilla having paid £18 million for him just over a year ago, the Spanish club will no doubt be hoping to make a profit on the Moroccan forward but he would no doubt come at a snip of the price of some of the other options available to the club.

Big names such as Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland have been linked with moves to Anfield over recent months and it isn’t hard to see why, but with options such as En-Nesyri it may be smarter for Liverpool to look away from the obvious and scout some talent for themselves – who knows, we may find the next big thing that no one else saw coming.
