The summer transfer window is just months away and with the club likely to make a number of signings at the end of the season in their attempts to strengthen the squad.

It was recently revealed that the club would sign at least one new attacker to boost their options up top and plenty of players have found themselves linked with a move – the likes of Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Youssef En-Nesyri, and even former Reds striker Danny Ings have all reportedly been targets of the club but a new and more realistic name has entered the fold.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka according to Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten as cited by Goals’ Ronan Murphy on Twitter, along with fellow Premier League club’s Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United, with the Tanzanian striker enjoying a successful season so far…

So far this campaign Daka has scored 27 goals in 31 games in all competitions and he looks like a fantastic striker with a real eye for goal. Having seen a few clips of Daka here and there the first thing that you notice is his incredible pace.

Daka has natural speed, great finishing ability, and really good movement both on and off the ball. Not only that but given the success of former RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland, it is clear to see why clubs are interested in their next up and coming star forward.

Will Klopp improve the Liverpool squad this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

With a current market value of £18million, Daka is a much more sensible option in regards to financial availability compared to some of the other names mentioned previously with a move to the club and I think under Jurgen Klopp, he could become the next big thing.

What do you think Liverpool fans, would Daka be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
